It's the most wonderful time of the year

Hola everyone!

This week was hard as far as the work goes, but we are seeing little miracles every day and I know that the Lord is blessing us for our efforts!

THE GOOD STUFF:
So the work has been kind of slow her in Esperanza. We are trying to find new people to teach and help the people that we are teaching to progress, but it's been a little rough. BUT the Lord is always watching and we had a miracle this past Sunday. We had just finished sacrament meeting and we thought that none of our investigators were in church, but we stood up to go to the next class and one of the members called us over and told us that one of our people was in the back. We ran back to see who it was and it was a guy that we had contacted about a week and a half before. We hadn't put an appointment to go back with him and we didn't even leave a pamphlet. He told us that he couldn't come last week but he wanted to make sure that he was there this week! So we put a day to go visit him and his wife and I hope that things go well!

I am learning a lot about the power in the little things. Like a simple invitation to go to church or leaving a note on someone's door or even just a smile. We never know the impact that we are going to have on someone. It is important that we are always, alway, always acting like Christ. You never know what kind of impact you are going to have one someone. So don't be afraid to open up and share the gospel :) even if it's just through a simple invitation.

THE FUN STUFF:
Christmas is in full swing here in the DR. There are a lot of houses with Christmas lights already and there are tons of Christmas decorations everywhere. Halloween isn't really a thing, and the Dominicans loooove their Christmas!
This isn't super fun, but we lost our phone this week and spent 2 and a half hours walking the whole city of Esperanza to try and find it. Long story short, we didn't find it and when we tried to call it it was turned off.. The assistants said they'd get us a new one by today so we are praying that it comes!

Don't forget to love like He does and NEVER give up!

Con MUCHO amor,
Hermana Kmetzsch
