Waterfall


Hello Everyone!

This week was great and full of miracles! The Lord really is here with us in every part of our lives and I know that he is watching over us!

THE GOOD STUFF:
So this week we had another killer lesson with Ana! We taught her about tithing and I was trying to teach her everything and after every word I said, she said, "I know. I know. I know," and she really did! She had studied the pamphlet that we left and was so willing to accept it! I showed her an example tithing envelope and she took it from me and started writing her name because she wanted to pay right then! She also told us that she is reading her Book of Mormon everyday. She expressed how grateful she is for the Book of Mormon in her life. Hermana Kirkham walked out of that lesson so happy and so pumped!! There really isn't a feeling like bringing the joy of the gospel into other people's lives. 

THE FUN STUFF:
So there is a cute couple from Utah in our ward and they took us on this BEAUTIFUL hike this morning! We hiked up to this waterfall and wow. I was a little bummed because we didn't get to jump in but it sure was pretty to look at! This country is so beautiful.

Hello everyone! This week was great! I picked up my new little greenie on Wednesday and she is the cutest! Her name is Hermana Kirkham and she's from South Jordan, Utah! Hola everyone!  This week was awesome! We had zone conference with two members of the 70 who were doing a mission tour this week! Elder Alverado is actually speaking in conference in October and he is AWESOME so I encourage you all to pay special attention to him.  Zone Conference THE GOOD STUFF: So this week we had zone conference and boy was it amazing. We had two members of the 70 there and spoke to us. Elder Alverado talked about the gathering of Israel and how it is the most important work on the earth. We really are in a time where we are preparing for Christ to come. It's a cool experience to be completely immersed and dedicated to this gathering and this work. A scripture that we have been using a lot this week is in 2 Nephi 26:33. Hola everyone!  This week was crazy and full of miracles! I also hit 6 months so that is just crazy sauce. Time is flying by and I just can't keep up!  THE GOOD STUFF: So. Gary. We went back to his house after the tithing lesson and he said that he feels so good and he just can't wait for Saturday to come! I have never met anyone so prepared and ready for the gospel. He said that he knows how much his life is going to change but how he is willing to give up everything because the changes he is going to make are worth far more than anything else.  We also have a new friend we are teaching named Carlos. He is 21 and speaks English! He is so interested in the gospel and really was looking for the truth when we found him. We gave him a Book of Mormon this week and he told us that he was going to read the whole thing as fast as he could cause he just wants to know if its true for himself.  I am realizing the importance of putting the gospel first ...
